Hello Rails. The update will target adding full support to the breadth of new features that shipped with Ruby on Rails 7. A lot of the content is being audited and honestly reduced now that Rails 7 introduces a lot easier conventions to accomplish the same goals.

This week I explored more ways to add more “realtime” capabilities to a Rails app. Out of that exploration came a new tutorial on real-time search using the
hotwire.dev framework. We use turbo_frames and stimulus.js in particular. I hope you learn something from it!
