Web-Crunch Digest - Issue #204

Web-Crunch Digest - Issue #204
By Andy L • Issue #204 • View online
Welcome to another issue of the Web-Crunch digest. I have been a bit removed from the usual flow of sending this out weekly but I appreciate your attention if you’re still reading this!
Behind the scenes, I’m actively re-recording my course Hello Rails. The update will target adding full support to the breadth of new features that shipped with Ruby on Rails 7. A lot of the content is being audited and honestly reduced now that Rails 7 introduces a lot easier conventions to accomplish the same goals.
If you purchased the course this upgrade is FREE!
This week I explored more ways to add more “realtime” capabilities to a Rails app. Out of that exploration came a new tutorial on real-time search using the framework. We use turbo_frames and stimulus.js in particular. I hope you learn something from it!
