Web-Crunch Digest - Issue #190

Happy new year!
I took a brief pause from my normal weekly schedule to spend some time with family and recharge over the holidays here in the states. I hope you and yours had a great end of the year in 2020 despite it being a whirlwind of a year.
This week I picked up a new feature of Rails and put it to use to help customize default form helpers inside of the Ruby on Rails framework. You may want to override default form helpers or add custom ones. I talk about how to approach this in my guide below.
Behind the scenes, I’m at work on more content and exploring a new app idea involving the podcast space. I listen to podcasts almost daily. My favorite ones involve building products, startups, investing, bitcoin, and more. I’d love to hear what you listen to. I may do a future blog post/video on the topic of podcasts soon. I’m also considering starting a podcast 🎙️ so we’ll see how things pan out!

Animosity - Album by Sevendust
One of my favorite bands is called Sevendust. They’ve been around for years and just recently did a live stream concert showcasing their “Animosity” album. That album doesn’t have a bad song on it in my opinion. Hope you dig it!
